Shandong Landian biological Technologies Corporation Limited was founded in 2012, with registered capital 220 million yuan. The company is located in Shandong Province, Shouguang, Yangkou high-tech Industrial Park. The company has three phases of "the construction non-grain materials 500000 tons / year of succinic acid and bio based products PBS industrialization project", equip with succinic acid fermentation system, separation and extraction system, esterification and hydrogenation of butylene glycol system, PBS polymerization system and power plant, sewage treatment plant, office, living area, covers the area of 1500 mu. The main products are 1,4-succinate, butanediol, polybutylene succinate (PBS) etc. This project total finds is 5.58 billion yuan and the project total investment 5.02 billion yuan. The project will realize annual sales income of 10 billion yuan(including tax), total profit and tax 3 billion yuan, providing 1000 jobs, with significant economic and social benefit.
After the completion of first phase of the project, it will form succinic acid product 120000 tons / year, polybutylene succinate (PBS) 25000 tons / year. This project is bio succinic acid and further polymerization production PBS (degradable plastics); Second, as the surface active agent, cleaning agent, additive and foaming agent; Third, succinic acid can be used in the food industry as acidifying agent, PH modifier, flavor and antibacterial agent and health related products, including medicine, antibiotics, amino acid and vitamin production. The project investment will be the first demonstration product of organic acid materials. It will scale product bio based materials polybutylene succinate (PBS) and explore contributions for bio based materials to replace the petroleum chemical derivatives.
The project has been included in the national "863" project and the national strategic emerging industry development special fund plan, and comforms to the national Twelfth Five year Plan "Bio Industry Development Planning". This project is a high tech industry.
This project is one of the three major biological base cluster industrial clusters in bohai sea creatures base, the leading project of Weifang bio-based material industrial cluster. Relying on the key laboratory of bohai sea creatures base material industrial clusters, the LanDian academician workstation of shandong province, the bio-based materials engineering technology research center of weifang city were set up successively. The further cooperation with Tsinghua University and China Academy of Sciences Tianjin Industrial Biotechnology Research Institute, respectively, to establish microbial fermentation laboratory, molecular biology laboratory, PBS and PBS modified product research and development laboratories. Next step will use the most advanced strains of world to build China's largest bio-based succinic acid industry base and the biological base PBS industry base.
The first phase of the project construction of civil engineering has been completed, part of the equipment has been installed. Pilot plant has been successfully run in November 2013, the current experimental indexes have reached the international advanced level.

This project depends on China Academy of Sciences Tianjin Industrial Biotechnology Research Institute and Hunan Changling Petrochemical Technology Development Co., Ltd. and Department of chemistry of Tsinghua University patent technology. This will lay a foundation for the company smooth operation.
